Three Ways to Build Performance Literacy

Each track is structured like a lab notebook — clear objectives, observation exercises, and reference notes you keep after the programme ends.

Tuning Concepts Track
Track 01

Tuning Concepts Track

A self-paced learning track explaining how performance characteristics of AI workloads are observed and reasoned about, in plain terms. Aimed at developers strengthening their fundamentals.

  • Structured multi-module chapters
  • Exercises with reference notes
  • No prior GPU background needed

What Makes Learning at Nuvex Different

Every programme is built around structured observation — not slide decks. You leave with notes you can actually reference.

Lab-Notebook Structure

Content is organised as notebook chapters with observation exercises, not dense theory blocks. Each module has a clear scope.

Practitioner-Written Material

Content is written by engineers who have spent time profiling and tuning real workloads — not adapted from generic cloud vendor docs.

Workload-First Framing

Concepts are introduced through workload behaviour — you see what happens first, then learn why. This builds durable reasoning habits.

Team-Scale Options

The coaching programme is designed for teams learning together — shared vocabulary and shared reference materials reduce friction in future discussions.

Malaysia-Based Delivery

Programmes are delivered from George Town, Penang. Facilitated sessions can be conducted in person or remotely, depending on your team.

Reference Materials You Keep

Every programme includes reference notes and a structured handbook. These are designed to be consulted long after the programme ends.

Common Questions

Who is the Tuning Concepts Track designed for?
The Concepts Track is aimed at software developers and ML engineers who work near AI workloads but haven't yet built a clear mental model of how the GPU is actually spending its time. No previous hardware knowledge is assumed — the track starts from observable behaviour and builds up from there.
What does the sandbox environment in the Lab Series look like?
The sandbox is a pre-configured environment with representative workloads and profiling tooling already set up. Learners run exercises against these workloads and observe how metrics shift as they make adjustments. The lab guides walk through each exercise step by step, and discussion prompts help learners articulate what they observed.
How long does the Team Coaching Programme run?
The coaching programme is a multi-week engagement, typically spanning four to six weeks depending on your team's schedule and scope. The exact cadence is agreed during the initial scoping conversation. Sessions are facilitated by a Nuvex practitioner and can run in person (George Town) or remotely.
Are the programmes delivered in English?
Yes. All written materials, lab guides, and facilitated sessions are conducted in English. This is consistent across all three programmes.
What is the pricing structure?
The Tuning Concepts Track is priced at RM 540 per learner. The Hands-On Lab Series is RM 1,700 per learner. The Team Coaching Programme is RM 4,600 for the engagement (team pricing, not per-seat). All prices are in Malaysian Ringgit and include the associated reference materials.
How is the contact and enquiry process handled?
You can reach us via the enquiry form below, by phone at +60 4-657 2914, or by email at [email protected]. For team programmes, we typically schedule a short scoping call first to understand your context before confirming details.
